With the storms yesterday and my horrible migraine going outside to get good light for pictures was impossible, so I go these. Ok but the light sucks. ' (Why wont the darn underline go away there?)

I love love love these, short and the hang wonderfully. I realllly want to do some more like these. Off to buy more lampwork beads!!!

ok here are more update pics of my original two pairs of earrings. I plan to update them on etsy tommorow. I have a new pair of earrings in the tumbler also. I have fallen in LOVE with StoneyMarieDesigns.etsy.com and want some of these beads soooo bad. I also have my eye on Beingbeads.etsy.com and am getting some ideas and if things go the way I hope I want to get some beads from both. Ok I am going to sign off for now, I have been fighting a nasty nasty migraine and feel horrible. so i cant say if anything I am typing makes any sense, I really should have been in bed a long time ago but I am stubobrn. Changing up the look...

Ok I am trying to find a look for my blog that I like. Not easy. So here is one for now that I like though it might be hard to read to me.

I made the font darker but am still undecided. I would love the text background to be a gray color but I couldn’t get it to do it. Let me know what you think! Please!

I sold the Peruvian Paradise anklet this morning. Have to get it packaged and sent out this week. I want to order some more stuff soo bad! I have already worked through most of my wire and need more. I did get headpins made in silver and copper. The 20gauge made the prettiest earwires out of the balled headpins. I almost want to go back and change all my stuff again.

I haven’t accomplished much even with the three day weekend, I played cleaned house and was lazy. My house is much cleaner though! Thinking I need to focus on that for a while…. It was getting scary! Wyatt moved back into his room this weekend! YAY! Traded the evil Wyatt eating toddler bed for a twin bed and Cars (aka Cachow) sheets and he tucked right in like he hadn’t refused to sleep in there for the last few months. Of course dad also set the Dvd player up in there and every night turns the tv on with Cars going on the timer to turn it off after about 45 minutes. Works like a charm. Peace and deep sleep for ME finally! He’s getting so big!

While outside the other night with dad, my Wyatt came strutting in the house and proudly presented me with a flower. He loves picking flowers and giving them to people. He was soo proud of this one, I quickly snapped a picture of it sitting next to the watch I am designing.

I also redid the earwires on two pairs of earrings last night and made them fancier. I love the way they look now. Cant wait to get them photo'd and listed tonight. I get to go straight home after work! We didnt carpool today, Mike told me we weren't and when I asked why he said "So you can come straight home and relax!" How sweet! (Really I looked like hell if probably why....haha) The pearls arrived that I ordered and I guess i need to start finding something to do with them. the peach pearls will go wonderfully with the pink coral I have I think.... Hmmm. Oh as I was getting ready to pack up my tools and go to bed I was looking at this old piece of jewelry that I bought at an estate sell for the beads and decided to take the crystal (glass)looking beads off of it finally. As soon as they were laid out on the table they just begged to be made into something... So most of them became a pair of silver earrings at the last minute, I plan to finish the wires tonight, but wow they just sat there an glowed once I made them. I cnat decided if I want to Oxidise them or not, I think the dark would really make them POP, but the shiny silver just really compliments them... Maybe I should see if there is enough for two pairs one of each! I was sad for a minute, I thought to myself, " I dont want to sell them! .. But I know I probably wont ever wear them, I rarely wear earrings. But we'll see. I can put them on my list with a deadline and if they dont sell they're MINE! Of course more pictures to come, it was dark when we got home and the mosquitos were too bad to go outside to take pictures anyways so only the anklet got done. Maybe tonight!

Life gets in the way of all my intentions...

Ok so I have been busting butt trying to get things made and listed and have I noooo.....

With gas prices killing our budget and it being so slow at Mikes work, we have been carpooling. I didnt realize how spoiled I was every day just going home 1 hour earlier. I am exhausted, its hot in his shop and we wait for 30minutes or more before he is off. When we get home there are dogs to let out and in and feed and cats to feed, rabbits to feed and check on, garden to water dinner to make and eat and whew not enough hours in the day. I've been staying up late trying to get stuff done. I bought wire, there was a mixup in the order from the original supplier and it wouldnt work for headpins etc. I So I had to round it all back up and return it. Which entailed taking apart my Harvest earrings listed on my etsy. I remade them last night and put the earwires etc in the tumbler. I made a pretty anklet last night also and put it in the tumbler with a couple S links that I am thinking might be the start of a necklace. Oh course I am paranoid about leaving the tumbler running overnight or while I am gone so it is just sitting there, I plan to tumble it tonight during dinner and then take pictures and list it. So be on the lookout for the peruvian opal and swavroski crystal anklet. I cant wait until payday, I really need more chain, I have so many ideas I cant sketch them out fast enough. Ok everybody... My Birthday is June 23rd! Dont forget! I want Hobby lobby giftcards or*** prepaid credit cards*** for ordering supplies please!!! Pretty Please!!! I love giftcards... I love to shop but never can afford it and gift cards are the best gift ever, I can get all the fun of shopping!

Now for my big idea that I havent said much about.... I have sketched out some summery unique tops I want to make. Minimal sewing... I am thinking of getting the machine out this weekend and trying to make them. I'm so scared I am going to make them and everyone will think they suck. So I want to crawl in a hole and not even bother. i'm hoping they turn out cute, maybe if they do I will make a couple and list them in my shop. If I even get my butt in gear and make them!

Ok I know I ramble to much and probably make no sense at all so i will go for now...
I dont even know if anyone has even read this goofy blog.

I'm in a funk.
I shattered like 5 Swavroski crystals trying to make a pair of earwires I had pictured...
I am totally hacked about it. I gave up.
I started a watch, either I dont have enough supplies to finish it how I want or when I do it doesnt quite look right. So its sitting on the work table half finished.

I did make some cute little s hook clasps, a couple have the pretty teal green/blue swavroski crystals on them and look really cool. I need to get the tumbler set up and get them polished up. Tonight I am bullying the husband into lighting the torch for me so I can do headpins. I swear I am going to buy a simple easy torch to work with that I can get going by myself. The fancy one he bought me doesnt do me any good when I cant get it lit without his help. It takes 4 hands to tinker with the darn thing and get it going.

Hmmm maybe if I make some large silver rings and hammer them and make a chain.... aha the rest of the watch! I have it now!

oh yeah anklets I need to make some anklets. I have enough chain for one. But not enough of the silver wire I want to use for the bead links. hohum... Oh yeah I screwed up some stuff and wasted abot 4 inches of silver wire. Grrrrr..... at least maybe I will be able to do something with the scraps later on.

Gas prices suck. Its making us broke broke broke. For once I am glad Mike isnt a lightduty technician. (He's straight commision =no job no paycheck) Being Medium Duty he works on the big truck company vehicles for industries that have to keep driving even with gas prices so high. As he puts it the entire shop is hungry for jobs, but he is one of the few that isnt starving at least. So on top of shelling out more money to even get to work lately there is less money coming in. Since we are carpooling to work we have cut the gas bill down quite a bit, but I cant even say that is making a difference. I sure hope that darn stimulus check shows up eventually. I am hungry for supplies darn it! I will gladly enjoy stimulating someone elses economy for supplies.

Ok so I am soo chearful I will stop now and quit spreading my Bahhumbug on anyone else.
I blame it on the heat! We saw one of the bank signs reading 100° yesterday. Bleck yuck barf. Its been 60's and 70's up until yesterday. I had to wear a jacket the other night.

I got the prettiest "mint" green pearls from Misti of MDKJewleryDesigns this weekend, I adore them they are a hint greener than the peruvian opals and compliment them I think. Expect to see plenty of stuff with them soon.

I ordered a mixed lot of pearls peaches and yellows (looks like cream too from the picture.) from
amylynnesbeadmarket.etsy.com I just got my notification that they will ship tommorow, I cant wait. I will be hovering over the mail! Though I read something about yellow not being a big color for sales in anything but I loved these colors for summer. There were 3 other lots that I wanted a red & pinks and another one I cant remember, I missed them darn it. I hope they have more soon. I love MIXES! I have a couple of their mixed lots earmarked with hopes they are still there when payday comes. Gas prices are killing me!

Ok so it doesnt look like much yet, I have one item listed and am working on another but the pictures are giving me heck.... Wow this is a lot of work. Whew. I have some new earrings made to list and the pics dont want to load... so here they are for now.

Southwest necklace.

Here is the newest necklace. Turqouise and copper of course. A hair longer than choker style the center hangs in a straight line. Really striking and different. I think it needs earings to match next.

I keep trying to move away from copper but darn it it just draws me back.

I started what I think is going to be a bracelet with the turgqouise magnesite, coral and wood and copper. I havent quite figured out for sure if its a necklace or bracelet yet. I bought some turqouise magnesite hearts yesterday that I started out working with and was trying to find something to match up with them and poof next thing I new the hearts were pushed aside and the coral and wood were jumping together. I think I wasted my money on the hearts darn it. They arent doing anything for me today. I need more wood beads, I think i like them a LOT. I bought some silver chain yesterday also finally and now cant quite decided exactly what to do with it. Tonight we are going to the inlaws for my father in laws birthday, so I wont get much done, tommorow Mom and I are going to a gemological show tommorow, maybe I will get lucky and find some beads... OH I have baby bunnies FINALLY! My orange holland lop doe had 4 little squiglers yesterday, daddy is David's Sablepoint Fuzzy Lop. I doubt they will be fuzzy, but I think they are all blue based colors or shaded. I LOVE the anticipation of seeing what colors they will turn out! Hopefully they will be a nice show string for the fall show season! I will post pictures of them soon, my intentions are to chart their growth with pictures, its neat to see how they go from named squiglers to fuzzy cuties.
